If you had a chance to ask the fourteenth richest person on earth a question, what would it be? Would it be about Internet? or Health? or Finance? or Education? What is something that intrigues you the most? Well, you just missed a chance to question Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg before a few days and it was an hour full of questions pouring in from celebrities and common people alike and Mark, like an enthusiastic kid answered all the questions with finesse. Let us discuss what points were of utmost important and can change the future of Internet in the years to come. Here are Positives From Mark Zuckerberg’s Q/A
Mark Zuckerberg feels that since close to two third of the world’s population is not connected to internet, Facebook being accessed by more than 2 billion users around the world should do something towards this. Then he was asked about extending internet.org to Europe. To which, Zuckerberg replied that Facebook is currently targeting countries with the most unconnected population. He also clarified that giving internet to the entire world would in no sense bring fortunes of money to Facebook.
How do they do it?
It takes guts to consistently be the world’s largest social network in times when mobile phone models change every few months. Any idea how Facebook is able to handle 1.4 billion visitors from around the world? It takes TBs/ second bandwidth and several hundreds of thousands of servers spread over large warehouses.
Since a year and a half, Facebook has invested around $2 billion on Oculus VR, the same Virtual Reality company that was acquired by Facebook. He believes that Virtual Reality would create a wild technology for the future. He wrote, “Our mission [is] to give people the power to experience anything”. And “Even if you don’t have the ability to travel somewhere, or to be with someone in person, or even if something is physically impossible to build in our analog world, the goal is to help build a medium that will give you the ability to do all these things you might not otherwise be able to do”.

Quite recently, Facebook introduced a new feature in Messenger app that lets you send money to your friends on Facebook. They are looking to roll our more widely soon and that Facebook is very excited about expanding in the near future.
There were many celebrities like Richard Branson and Shakira who gatecrashed Mark Zuckerberg’s question on bringing internet to the farthest points on earth where there is no scope of internet. Mark Zuckerberg answered all questions with calm and that is what you expect from a person who virtually rules your life.
