Kairos SmartWatch: Now turn any watch into a SmartWatch
As the last decade was well know for smartphones and tablets, I wonder this decade will be termed as the decade of Smartwatches and Wearables and rightly so because I have reviewed more than ten Smartwatches/ fitness trackers in the past three months and the numbers seem to rise every day by day. Though I am not complaining nor should you as a user because more options means tough competition for the companies and tough competitions are always rewarding for the users as they get the best of every thing at the most affordable prices.
Super Cool Kairos SmartWatch
Just imagine that you own a uber, upmarket 25-jewel, Swiss mechanical watch. Sounds really amazing right? Now just imagine, your surprise, when I say that the same watch can even display text messages, show notifications of incoming calls and much more. That my friend, is Kairos Smartwatch for you. The pure aim of this watch is the combination of a luxury mechanical watch with seamless functionalities of a smartwatch. This sounds like icing on the ever so delicious cake.
Features of Kairos SmartWatch:
The Kairos SmartWatch was launched on May15 and it falls in the upmarket watch segment. The watch is currently available in two models: The MSW 115 with 21 jewel Miyota 82S7 automatic movement and the SSW 158 with a 25 jewel Soprod A10BV-2 Swiss automatic movement. Both these watches have a 316L stainless steel case, leather band, sapphire crystal, 42 hour mechanical power reserve and both the super smart watches are water resistant to 3 atmospheres.
So far, so conventional, but under the choice of black, steel or gold finish there’s also an Arm Cortex M4 or Intel processor running Android Wear OS or the Kairo proprietary operating system. This gives the users a choice of choosing either a full colour transparent OLED with 40 percent transparency sitting over the crystal or a ICON transparent display that is 60 percent transparent. For other watches, you will have to add these features but with Kairos, these are in built features.
The watches have Bluetooth to connect it to your digital devices, touch sensors, a 3-axis accelerometer with gesture detection, a gyroscope, and a USB charging cable with a magnetic connector.
More about Kairos SmartWatch:
Kairos makers believe that these watches have a 5 to 7 day battery life and most of it is credited to the mechanical analog hands that save the SmartWatch to display time every now and then.
According to the specs, the Kairos watches can not only provide notifications and push alerts, but also act as a remote control for other digital devices, display fitness data, act as a chronograph and act as a GPS-enabled world time display. You can upgrade this watch as and when new technology arrives just for a US $99 service fee.
