With The New Insta360 One, You Can ‘Shoot First, Point Later
Insta360 is the world leader in 360-degree cameras. Insta360 cameras authorize people to freely share experiences. It offers full, immersive, lived experiences. The time or place doesn’t matter. Insta360 is a company based in Shenzhen. It is plunged in the city’s incomparable hardware ecosystem. Insta360 prides itself on creating groundbreaking products that push the envelope of both performance and accessibility.
Compact And Designed Like A Sausage.
The new Insta360 One comes in a shape of a Beats Pill speaker. But it is the size of small sausage. The new camera won’t really amaze you with high quality imagery. It uses two cameras to shoot, in total, 4K at 30 frames per second, and captures 24-megapixel stills. Insta360 One offers the ability to remove a photo. You can also remove a frame of video that you shoot. Many makers of 360-degree cameras have trying to do something like this for a while now.
Gyroscopic Stabilization.
With the Insta360 One, you can shoot 360-degree videos and photos like you normally would. You can set the camera up on a tripod. Or you can hold it steady in an outstretched hand. The camera has a fantastic gyroscopic stabilization for a tiny little camera. Those photos and videos are also pretty good.
Processor.
Packing a 1/2.3” Sony CMOS sensor, a large F2.2 aperture and a high-efficiency Ambarella processor, the ONE makes quick work of capturing brilliantly crisp 4K spherical video and 24 MP spherical stills. Compact and ergonomic, the ONE captures the action without every getting in the way of it. The camera comes with a safety case which can also be used as a monopod. Insta360 One has a unique foldable Lightning connector. With this, you can link it up in an instant.
Free Capture.
Insta360 has a new feature called “FreeCapture.” Insta360 says you can “shoot first, point later” with this feature. When you are playing back a 360-degree photo on your phone, you spin and pinch and zoom the image. You have to do this until you have framed up a 16:9, 4:3, or even 1:1 composition that you like. You just have to tap on the button. The tap will save a full-resolution image to your phone.
The same applies for video. The process of doing that is a bit different though. You can shoot in 360 degrees with video, and then during playback. You can actually pan around the sphere of imagery by moving your phone like you would when you are shooting a video. It’s as if you have stepped back into that part of the world where you and your camera originally were and were given the opportunity to shoot it all over again. This feature feels like magic.
SmartTrack.
SmartTrack follows any subject to give you a classic-sized video. Here the videos are always center-frame. You can also go live in 360 on your favorite platform. You can start a broadcast with one tap and let family and friends see life from your eyes as you live it. A direct Lightning connection will keep your broadcast stable and beats Wi-Fi by a mile.
Waterproof.
You can freely get in the pool with the ONE’s customized IP68 waterproof housing. The Insta360 One is dust-proof and waterproof. It is also pretty durable. The housing of the camera undergoes rigorous seal testing. It is also effective at up to 30-meter depth.
70 Minutes Of Shooting.
You can connect the camera via Bluetooth to set up the perfect shot. Or you can quickly mount it on an accessory. The ONE’s allows you to do 70 minutes of continuous shooting. You can connect the camera directly to your phone for seamless previews and rock-steady live-streaming. The Insta360 ONE adapts easily. The camera has a cutting-edge optics in a sleek, ultra-portable exterior.
Affordable Price.
The retail price of an Insta360 One is $299. Along with the camera, you get a two-in-one case and camera stand, a MicroSD card, a Micro-USB cable. There is also a lens cloth, and a string attachment. You can buy a selfie-stick, Bluetooth remote control, and IP68 waterproof housing which are sold separately. The iPhone version of Insta360 One will start selling in the month of September, while the Android version will be made available soon.
