Lily Camera – A drone reinvented
Imagine being a part of a dazzling scenic beauty, with so much extreme sport in your schedule, and no one to shoot a video of it. What a waste! But hang in there, you do have brilliant option that could solve this issue altogether.
Lily is a new robotic camera drone which allows you to capture cinematic aerial photos as well as videos without having to pilot it. The ‘throw and shoot camera’ is in itself the world’s first and that which is expected to have a tremendous impact on both, the drone and the camera industry.
How Lily Camera does it is pretty amazing
- Install the tracking device on the subject you’d like Lily to follow (you, in this case).
- Throw Lily high into the air. That simple.
And then you can get busy with your bungee jumping or rafting through rough waters. Lily Camera will automatically fly above you and follow you around and shoot all by itself, taking those perfect HD photos and videos which you’d love to show off.

- Light weight and compact: Size-wise, the Lily can be comfortably carried around in your backpack and weighs less than an average laptop.

The Lily Camera is the perfect high-tech companion for living in the middle of nowhere. It’s a jaw-dropping concept in the array of drones in the market with its only downer being that this unmanned aerial vehicle is probably not allowed to be used in Canada.
The Lily Camera will start shipping in February 2016 for the price of $999, but it is said that the company is currently taking pre-orders through its website for $499.
