Check out How Our Likes Matched With The Folks At Apple for the Best Apps and Games of 2015
It’s past mid December and 2016 is almost here. The year is about to end and a new year awaits with all the upcoming tech and apps to be released (And for us to review them). Time to leap into new inventions, products, tech and see what the coming year has in store for us.
Apple has always been a game changer since it’s inception. From the first iPhone, iPad to its launch of the App Store in 2008 that changed how our lives depend on smart tech and apps now.
Rovio’s Angry Birds was the most popular paid app and Facebook, which was (and is) free, was downloaded five million times in 2008 alone.
Every year is a new beginning for developers and app makers. But before we move on, let’s take a step back and go through a few of the app highlights from 2015 that made their way to the top.
2015 has been a great year for all the tech and app lovers. We saw some great flagship devices from Apple like the iPhone 6S, 6S+ or the iPad Pro. Wearable smart tech went from being just a ‘pebble’ at 79$ to the Apple Watch Gold Edition for 17,000$. All of which run apps on them.
A phone or a watch isn’t smart unless it has applications that run on it to make it smart. Hardware might be the bones and spine of a gadget, but it’s the software and the apps on it that make it come alive.
One of the best parts about getting a new iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch is downloading new apps on it. And there’s a lot to choose from.
The Apple App Store possesses one of the most diverse and extensive collections of apps in it. From milking a virtual cow to learning about the great mysteries of solar system – you name it!
You can pretty much find apps for anything and everything in it – and we mean it. With 1.5 million apps to choose from the App Store and more being added daily, the choices to choose from just keeps growing, and it can be a tedious task to cut through the heap of umpteen apps available to download.
We at Nimblechapps, the tech and app savvy that we’ve always been, have been nibbling at and mentioning a few notable applications through out the year that we found were worth a download on our smartphone or smartwatch. We’ve written extensive posts about the apps we’ve liked. We hunted down the best from the lot and made it easier for you to find the perfect app as per your need. And guess what? Even the folks at apple thought the same. The editors at apple have selected few of the apps that we have featured on our website as well, and we’re happy we were right to do so.
Since it’s the year end, Apple as always, has released it’s list of ‘Best of 2015’ apps on iTunes App Store and needless to say, we have had those apps covered on our blog the moment we came across them and saw their potential in being a standout.
Here’s a list of apps that we knew were great and wrote about, that are featured on the Apple App Store countdown list as well.
