Jelly is The Smallest 4G Smartphone With Up to 3 Days of Battery Life
Jelly is the smallest 4G smartphone. It is an amazingly small smartphone powered with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat features. According to Shanghai-based Unihertz, Jelly is a mini-sized 4G smartphone for everyone. It is designed to be small, but for a reason. At times, when you don’t require a bulky and expensive phone with you, just put it in the coin pocket.
Tiny and Lightweight.
Many travelers and business people need to change their phones or SIM cards as they travel from one place to other. Many people prefer to maintain more than one phone number. Switching SIM cards to do so or when traveling is a hassle. It makes it easy with dual Nano SIM card slots. For many people, Jelly is a lightweight backup for their main phone. So it should be powered-up and ready to go whenever you need it. It has a replaceable battery design. With a full charge it has a upto 3 days working time (average usage) or upto 7 days on standby.
Good For Workout.
These days, smartphones are just getting bigger and more powerful. Such phones become cumbersome for activities such as running or working out. With Jelly, your workout is much easier. In fact, it’s such a popular use for Jelly that the company decided to design a comfortable armband mount for sports and exercise. Even clicking selfies has become easy. No more struggling to hold and handle a heavyweight smartphone while trying to capture the perfect picture of yourself.
Supports 4G Network Carriers.
By choosing the mini-sized Jelly, you won’t be compromising on your favorite Apps either. Jelly uses the latest Android operating system. It can run virtually any App from the Google Play store. Whether you want apps to play games or just connect with friends, go ahead and fill Jelly with all those essential Apps. Enjoy the convenience and reliability that you would expect from any phone. Jelly easily supports most of the 4G network carriers. But it doesn’t support those with CDMA.
This is Phone Packs a Punch.
Jelly looks like a small, cute phone. But it packs a punch. It’s got a 1.1 GHz processor. It has up to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It has slots for two nano SIM cards. Coming to the cameras, the Jelly comes with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The Jelly’s most impressive feature, however, is the battery life. Unihertz claims up to three days of average usage and up to seven days of standby time from the phone’s small 950 mAh battery. In comparison, phones like the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S8 only last 1-1.5 days on a single charge.
The phone was launched on Kickstarter earlier this month. It has already raised more than $180,000. The Kickstarter price is $69. But at launch, its retail price might go up to $109. The Jelly smartphone will be available in white, blue or black. The phone has all the features of a full-sized Android smartphone and even runs Android 7.0 Nougat with access to most of the Google Play Store apps.
