Samsung had earlier brought a new wearable to market and Gear S2 looks great, feels great. So the successor to this super-impressive Gear S2 smartwatch named the Gear S3 will get to see some latest updates and new announcements for the new wearable version at IFA 2016.
Samsung will announce multiple versions of the smartwatch, Gear S3 Classic, Gear S3 Explorer and Gear S3 Frontier editions as some of the new versions are in the news too. Samsung may also unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 at its IFA press event with a healthy boost and a smart launch where its predecessor faltered.
2. Sony
Unveiling the 4K resolution by Sony on a 5.5-inch display is naturally a great technical achievement.
Sony may have new phones planned for IFA to showcase its Xperia Z6 range to represent a new chapter and evolution in mobile technology. With a similar design to Z5 but improved specifications, Xperia Z6 will be the next Sony Xperia flagship that will arrive in the second half of 2016.
Sony is planning to expand its audio range, a mobile line-up with a couple of extra devices too. It wishes to come up with an Ultra HD Blu-ray player sporting some serious high-end features and benefits. Brace yourself for the gizmos.

HTC may launch a couple of new Butterfly devices, the Desire 10 Lifestyle and Desire 10 Pro. As HTC 10 is just hovering in the markets, there are no such official announcements for any smartphones coming on the way. The troubled HTC smartwatch saga continues with project getting delayed. Hope to see a new transformation in smartwatches soon with the advent of the flagship phones, though.
