Here are some of the things you need to know about the iPhone X.
All-Screen Design:
With the new iPhone X, Apple decided to let the home button go. This radically redesigned smartphone drops the traditional home button for an all-screen design. Apple managed to make the iPhone X bigger, yet smaller at the same time. It’ll have a more expansive 5.8-inch edge-to-edge screen. But the size is actually smaller than a Plus-sized iPhone. Also, it feels lighter. It will actually be much easier to hold the iPhone X in one hand. Even if you were turned off by the Plus size, you’ll still be able to upgrade to iPhone X without a problem. That’s good news because the front and back of the phone are now made of glass. With this design, Apple forgoes the usual aluminum casing. But you will be needing an iPhone X case. There are new techniques and technology used in the display. This is to precisely follow the curves of the design. It is the done all the way to the rounded corners.

You can disable Face ID by holding in the side button for a few seconds. The technology and science used behind Face ID is very complex. Apple says that the Face ID will still work even if you happen to change your appearance a bit. It’ll still ‘just work.’

Now you can take beautiful selfies with sharp foregrounds and artfully blurred backgrounds. There is a new feature in Portrait mode called the Portrait Lighting. It produces impressive studio‑quality lighting effects. The TrueDepth camera analyzes more than 50 different muscle movements to mirror your expressions in 12 Animoji. So now you can reveal your inner animal. It comes with depth-sensing cameras and precise facial mapping. This lets you create striking studio‑quality lighting effects. The wide-angle and telephoto cameras on iPhone X enable optical zoom. It also allows for digital zoom of up to 10x for photos and 6x for videos.
