It’s easy to pair the it. You simply press the ‘e’ and it plays a short tune to let you know it’s in pairing mode. And just find it in the list of available Bluetooth devices and tap on it. You will need to create a free account through the app. It then works much like the Find My iPhone app. In that you can see when the it was last ‘seen.’ Always keep the app running in the background. It has the ability automatically remember the time and place you last had your item. This way you know where to start looking.
Notify When Found.
Select “Notify When Found” in the app, if your article isn’t where you last had it. You will automatically be notified of its most recent location, when any device in the Tile community passes by your missing item. This feature works 100% anonymously. It works automatically to protect your privacy.

Every app in the Tile community updates the location of each it device it detects. The company has sold over 6 million its. There are over a million items located every day. It’s network is the largest, fastest and most powerful lost and found community in the world. Tile costs $25 a piece. It is about as big as a matchbook.
