5 Things We Wish to See from Apple in 2015
Apple had an eventful last year and the sales touched promising heights in the third quarter thanks to the success of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and anticipation of what is said to be the best Smart watch of all times, the Apple Watch in the early part of 2015. Steve Jobs’ successor Tim Cook despite his act with U2 lead singer Bono and choosing to accept his homosexuality has grey shades of Jobs’ fearlessness which has rubbed on Tim Cook and he too like Steve Jobs, wants to make sure that Apple is taken withering heights in 2015 and we bring you 5 things which can make it work for Apple Inc. So, here is what’s with Apple in 2015.
Apple Watch
Apple Watch, at the time it was announced on September 6 along with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, it was marketed as the best product ever by Apple Inc. and there have been strong speculations regarding Apple Watch’s shipping date in March 2015. As we have mentioned earlier, there are reports of Standalone apps to be developed for the Apple Watch and the launch of a new iPhone along with the Apple Watch to bolster the sales of the Apple Watch, which is said to be the best smartwatch until now and the design has been done by Swiss watchmakers who are known for their carefully crafted watches.
iPhone 6C, iPhone 6S or iPhone 7?
It has just been three months since iPhone 6 has arrived at the market and broken all previous records and Apple Inc. is looking for another installment of their flagship product. Reports are that the Apple Watch and a new iPhone would be releasing together in Spring 2015, as Apple fears that not launching a new iPhone along with the Apple Watch might hinder the sales as consumers might wait for a few months and get the Apple Watch along with a new iPhone in September. So, Apple might start launching new iPhones twice a year just to maintain healthy competition from Samsung, HTC, and Nexus. Apple fans believe that at the moment, iPhones come in three sizes but not a single iPhone comes in all three sizes. So, the speculation is that Apple might launch iPhone 6C, iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 in sizes 4 inches, 4.7 and 5.5 inches respectively.
Macbook Air with Retina Display
Macbook Air with Retina Display was the wish of millions of Apple fans alike and it might come true this year as Apple plans of launching a new thinner MacBook Air with Retina Display. We will be updating you with the features of the Macbook Air, the release date, design and early pictures of the dream device from Apple Inc. Many websites predicted the launch of MacBook Air during Christmas holidays but now it suggests that Apple will be launching the new Macbook in 2015 itself.
Apple Watch Apps
Apple recently launched iOS 8.2 beta version only for iPhone devices and it will be separate for the Apple Watch which is slated to release alongside a new iPhone(iPhone 7 ?) in Spring 2015. It is testing time for iOS developers as it is the first time that they would be venturing into wearables and developing apps for devices other than iPhones and iPads which have to sync with iPhones and iPads of course. According to sources, Apple iOS 8.2 Beta will not be accessible to Watch app. Though if you want to track it, you can do that by changing the default Bluetooth settings. Apple Watch apps would be standalone apps providing the users for managing their watch settings to their liking.
3D Gesture UI
Yes, you heard it right, Apple Inc. has been awarded the patent for a “3D User Interface Session Control” which is a software UI to use with PrimeSense’s motion-sensing devices. You must be wondering what is so cool about it? Well, this allows Apple products to recognize human gestures and converting them into computer commands. It makes the use of Camera for tracking motion and depth input data which applies to a 3D interface. The user would ideally move his hand along the X,y and Z axes to create gestures which are later processed by an app or another host computer. Apple will be using this technology in Apple TV, revising the TV completely and reintroducing it in their own style.
Just like 2014 was an eventful year for Apple, 2015 would be equally important with the above-mentioned accomplishments from Apple and they have made sure that the Cupertino-based tech giant has some announcement to be made every couple of months in 2015. If you have news about any other technology or product that Apple is working on, you can mention it in the comments below and we would feature that in our next segment.
